Daily newspapers were stable in their average issue readership and weekly coverage, while the Sunday newspaper category has grown with the inclusion of Herald on Sunday.
Magazines showed stable readership overall. The women’s weeklies category showed 41% reach, general interest magazines 46%, entertainment 42% and motoring 43%. The sports magazine category showed an increase of 4%, now sitting at 22%.

The NRS is a fully national survey that interviewed 13,750 people over the aged of 10 years.
